You know me...I love Marvel Comics turned into movies :) I went to see "Captain America -the first avenger" today at Heron City. Went alone since it was a matiné (11.50) and there were only 4 people plus me in the salon....all guys, me only girl. Appereantly they didn't think it was a movie for me but hey, I love superheroes plus Steve Rogers is kind of cute ;).
Anyway, the movie was awesome. Chris Evans had starred before in an actionhero movie as Johnny Storm aka Human Torch in the Fantastic Four but didn't have the leading role there until now as Steve Rogers, Captain America.
What I liked mostly was that even though his character was small, he was fearless and even if he got hit he never ran away....a true hero. I hated it when they made fun of him when he first got his muscles but what he did from then....wow! Highly recommended!!!

After the movie, I took a walk to the shoe-shop...had to buy some slippers to work on monday (mine were so worn out) then stopped by Toys r Us to check out Transformers toys before heading home. Oh while I was getting on the bus, there was this idiot that kept pushing me to get a seat while I was waiting for the ladies with their babies to park their strollers, suddenly I felt my blood boil and I yelled "Take it easy!". He grabbed his seat and I continued to the final seats.
Otherwise, it was a very good day. Only sunday left of my vacation and then it's back to work :(.

I need a new job, fast.
