London 3-7/8: Day 3

Monday morning in London, only 2 days left before leaving this beautiful city...it both saddens me and makes me happy...I absolutely love London but I miss my family so much!!
This particular morning I had my breakfast @ Starbucks, headed for the Disneystore to buy something for my sisters collection (she absolutely loves Piglet from Winnie the Pooh) and ran into Sully :) my favorite from Monsters Inc. What's with me and guys with big and strong arms...wow!! *LOL* We fit perfect! ;)

Walking from Disneystore to Victoria's Secret...wow a lot of lingerie, nice things for say a wedding and cosy things for everyday :) but for now, I'll stick to cosy. I'll definetely come back for the wedding stuff hehe.
Went across town to Tower Bridge, sat by Starbucks to have a lemonade and it began to rain. Only a little, so I kind of enjoyed myself under the umbrella looking at the bridge in it's full glory. Life is great, truly great :)

Headed back to the hotel quite early, since my feet were pretty sore...I fell asleep for a few hours and then I got up to buy an evening snack. Shower, phone home and then enjoy the tv's company with a big bottle of water. Thirsty? Um...yeah!

London 3-7/8: Day 2

I woke up a coupple of times during the night, splashed my face with cold water to be able to sleep...
Got up quite early even though it was sunday, thinking that maybe some of the shops were open but no...everything was closed until 11 am! So yeah...it was around 9 am and I didn't know what I was supposed to do, suddenly I found myself walking around Haymarket and all the theaters around. Especially one caught my eyes... Her Majesty's Theater :) I know Peter Jöback was playing The Phantom here last year but now he's making success in Brodway, USA so now they have another Phantom...Marcus Lovett :)

Standing between The National Gallery and the fountains, St Martin in the fields was ringing in to sunday mass. So I decided to go, which was actually nice. It reminded me when I went with my grandma :)
After that it was already 11 am so I hit the shops again...bought a few things and continued my journey throughout London. So far I had visited a toystore (completely new to me) where I saw loads of fun stuff from the Harry Potter movies/The DaVinci code/Lord of the Rings, CK store and a few other stops.
Around 7 pm I was back in my hotel room for some rest.

Beautiful London 3-7/8 :)

I didn't have the time to write before but now, at home feeling a bit under the weather, I thought of writing some ;)
My first plan was to travel to Paris, since I've never been there but unfortunately in the news they spoke of a meningitis break out at clubs...which is kind of risky for me since club people could be pretty much anywhere and my health isn't all that good all the time.
So I went to my constant love, the one that never fails...London. Actually I had another plan, to see if I could change a persons mind towards me but right on time, I changed my mind.
When I already changed plans, I told him about it and he just confirmed my feeling a few days before. I guess I'll always be a hopeless romantic and think the best of people, but I also need to know that not everyone sees things as I do.
Anyway...on saturday morning I got up early, said goodbye to my mom and headed for the airport. Had a nice breakfast, wandered around in the shops and then headed for the gate. My flight made a stop in Frankfurt and I stopped for snacks before boarding the flight to London Heathrow. At 2:30 pm I landed and around 4 pm I was in my hotel room...tired and all sweaty. I called home, showered and went out for dinner.

Unsure of what I really wanted, I chose Marks & Spencer in Oxford Street...they had this wonderful mini plates of asian food :) Pretty much just what I needed, to that a pot of tea :) YUM YUM!
I wandered for a few more hours in #Oxford Street, went to shop at #Primark (awesome place btw)
before taking the tube back to my place.

Back in my room, another shower and some tv watching to help me sleep...woke up a few times because it was way too hot in my room, nothing a cold face towell couldn't help :) Goodnight!

So...my final days of summer vacations came, believe me...I didn't want it to end. I needed to rest although I've been away from work for 4 months, still it's so tough to work like I do but hey...you do what you gotta do.
But to end it well, I went to the movies with my girls to see "The Heat" with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. Damn what an awesome movie!!! Never laughed so much in my life...especially when I saw a guy that reminded me of someone I know...hahahahaha!!! It's a little bit of "Miss Secret Agent" but hey, I loved it!

On saturday I went to the movies alone...I was going to enjoy some X-Men related goods in "The Wolverine" and wow, just wow!!!!! I absolutely adore Hugh Jackman.
A lot of action from the beginning to the end...and Logan (Wolverine) is the kind of guy I would definetely date!! He's fearless, he's an expert in martial arts (you should see him with a samuraj sword) and he's a protector! I love him!! And the best quote? Well....this is one I have close " I was told I am a ronin, a samuraj without a master" Oh yeah baby he is!
