A Prayer for a family member.

This is a chain prayer for one of my family members that aren't feeling well...Please pray with faith.

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen

Memory Lane: The Break-Up 1996

I'm just sitting by the computer listening to some old songs...and just found one that reminded me of my first break-up: Savage Garden "Break Me, Shake Me" from 1997. That wound is already healed but somehow I still remember when and what happened...
So now I'm going through old songs, I found the first song that I listened after the break-up and it's Robbie Williams version of George Michael's "Freedom".

I didn't realise back then that my way of handeling things like that was through music. Like every hard moment later in life, I hid within my different tastes of music: Everything except what in Sweden they call "Dansband" which is like square dancing or something ^^. Oh yeah I had my dark age within music with hmmm *tries to remember* Queen, AC/DC, Metallica, KISS and so many more. Later in life I've added 30 seconds to mars, Linkin Park.... :)
I never regretted the break-up, although it did hurt and actually marked me for quite some time. I've had difficulties in finding the right person, so now I'm focusing more on me rather than finding someone to fill the space as boyfriend. I have felt alone from time to time, I've cried myself to sleep wondering why the right guy hasn't turned up yet or why the guys I liked never liked me.
But as every woman, you find strenght in doing productive things and beeing with people that really love and care about you....that my friends is the LOVE THAT WILL LAST FOREVER.

Time flies and I'm gonna watch a movie now, so goodnight and sleep tight y'all!

Doctors Appointment and A friendly face :)

Today I got an appointment at the doctors...gotta get my sick certificate *rolls eyes*
So once again I was waiting, checked out a magazine and found something I saw in Germany at the airport! Gerry Butler's commercial for Loreal ^^ Had to take a pic for my mom, she adores him!

10 minutes later I was already out on my way home, quick questioning at the doctors. All the sudden a friendly face was crossing the street in front of me :)
I raised my hand and said "Hi Jay". It's been so long since I last saw him, so we hugged and I got introduced to one of his friends. Jay is really a nice guy, there's something special about american guys hehe *didn't I just sound like Nicky Minaj? LOL*
My sister (who's new beau is american) says the same, they have different manners than swedish guys...must be a country thing ^^.
Anyway so we said bye and I kept on going, gosh I hadn't taken a long walk in a very long time so I walked all the way to the station...got myself a hot cup of chocolate and took the train home. Had to stop by and buy some groceries, almost dinner time :)

Thanks a lot....NOT!

Yesterday I didn't feel so good during the afternoon....I thought "I'm probably getting a cold"....said and done, I'm sick now...had to leave work earlier and just get some rest.
My boss was sick during the week and of course, she had to sneeze and cough on me...so now I'm sick! Great! My weeks pay goes down the drain, my extra hours get low too and what do I have to do? Travel across town tomorrow to get a freakin' paper that says "You have a cold" to show at work *pissed off*.

I've slept for 3 or 4 hours since I got home...fever is rising although I've taken pills to keep it low :(
So now I'm watching "Dirty Dancing" on the tv, laying in the couch with my pillow and blanket almost falling asleep again...
Well, time to back to my warm couch....Nighty Night All!

Valentine's Part 2.

Yesterday was another day at work until 3 pm *tired* but after that I had a date....

No No, not that kind of date....I was meeting my best friend (sorry guys, she's married) to have a nice dinner and gossip some heheheh.
We went to Cafe Belmondo (nice place) and chatted for hours while enjoying dinner...I always laugh so much when we meet, almost choked on a cucumber hahaha!!!
After that we took a walk around town, she got me a Valentine's gift (a pair of earrings) and I got her something too (a Vampire Diaries book, since she like me LOVES Damon). Another stroll, checked on some clothes for her and her husband (she thinks I have really good taste in guy's clothes....then how come I don't have a boyfriend then, huh?!).
We had so much fun, but then it was time for her to go home and for me too. Train was delayed (as always during winter-time) so I got home 8:45 pm (if the train had been on time, I would have been home 8:15). I had some tea with my girls, we talked and time to hit my bed.
Well, I choosed Mission Impossible 2 and this video above...is my favourite part. Listen to the music.
Today is my day off and I'll just take it easy. Tomorrow I have work and a course in elders behaviour. Gotta need some hot chocolate to stay awake.
See yah peeps!

Valentine's Day @---->-----

February 14th...Valentine's Day. People around me eat chocolate and heart shaped cupcakes...me?

Nah I'm fine thanks *LOL*

It's quite a different Valentine's...I'm enjoying my single life, making plans for the future journeys and just feeling okay with most of things :) But I won't break my tradition of watching an action movie today ;D I think it stands between "The Punisher" or "Ghost Rider" hehehe. Maybe even "Mission Impossible"!
Well it depends if Damon wants to spend some time with me ;D so maybe I'll just watch Vampire Diaries all night hehehehe.

Have a great Valentine's all of you in love :) and the ones not...someday a prince or princess will come, just have some faith.

Love yah all!

My Weekend Off

It's great to have a weekend off, but since it's just a weekend it's never enough! 2 days are just gone like pooff *snaps fingers* and still I didn't do much!
Well, I got some well earned rest...was out on shopping spree with my sister " Oh no, I spent 900 dollars" like Rebecca Bloomwood in "Confessions of a shopaholic" hehe well we didn't spend that much ^^.
My sister got herself some clothes (she hasn't bought anything since hm before Germany I think) and I well since my birthday when I got my Adidas tracksuit tops. Bought a sweatshirt 70 % off in a nice blue-ish colour. Then we checked out the magazine store (nothing for me but for my sister hehe), I still have to wait like a month until I can buy new Entertainment Weekly with some sexy Damon on the cover!!!!!! A freakin' month!!!! Oh well....*stares at him over Google* hahahaha.
Later on saturday, I watched "Jane Eyre" until 4:30 am....*Michael Fassbender is soo HOT!*

Today it's sunday and all I did was go down to the supermarket...and tomorrow I have to work again...I don't want to!!! Well, I guess I have to suck it up and just get over with it.
Damon is calling on me, gotta go....very hot man, can't keep him waiting!

Night!

R.I.P Whitney Houston

It's sad to get news like this...to know that another musical icon has left us in such tragical way.
I hope she finds peace and has a big gathering with other musicians that are in heaven now, where there isn't any pain or sadness, where nothing can harm you.

Whitney Houston, you'll be truly missed. R.I.P

Books, books and more books ;)

Jeez, I've barely had the time to think after the trip to Germany...I updated my bookshelf before that with some new "Vampire Diaries" books and one exclusive from the Fallen-series "Fallen in Love".

I'm currently reading "Vampire Diaries -Shadow Souls"...it's very very good to read on the train to and from work, preventing from falling asleep and missing your stop hehe. I mean, who doesn't like the company of the Salvatore brothers? ;)

And I also bought this one.... :)

I've got some other books coming up as well (not released yet though) which is Fallen-series last book "Rapture" and the last book of Becca Fitzpatrick "Hush Hush" saga "Finale".
So many things I'm longing for......

Later All!

Travelling Again

Why is it that ever since I travelled the first time on my own (even though with friend) to another country, I feel this huge need to do it again soon? I mean in 2009 I was in Northampton at the Twilight Convention and ever since I've wanted to travel at least once or twice a year.
I mean I've been in Germany twice with the girls, been in London once and now I'm heading to Barcelona before the summer :D First time in Spain actually, so I'm gonna try and see as much as possible :).

Pic from Google.com

But, my dream is to travel to New York in the fall. Yeah I know, it's expensive but still I want to go at least for 3 days...my grandfather was there while he worked with these huge cargo boats but also in Liverpool and Hamburg. Maybe that's why I like to travel, 'cause he did :) I'll be sure to tell him when we speak on the phone.

This week has been massive, I've had so much fun with the family and now it's all about work. Days of rest are coming *Thank God* and then my weekend off. I would've had 3 days off during the weekend but hey gotta save for future journeys, so I'm working extra :)

Time for some Vampire Diaries...Goodnight peeps!

Guten Tag Deutschland!!!!

Hehe no I don't speak german but hopefully I will very soon :)
Well yes, I was in Germany again...Cologne to be precise. I was there last year with the girls in a concert of an american band and now it was something like that too...besides checking out Cologne a little closely. We even had time for a family reunion :D Very nice actually!

We started at home at 4 am (mom got up), 4:30 am was my turn and at 5 am my sister (how come she always gets more sleep than me?) but I wasn't at all tired...I was incredibly bright and shiny!
Before 6 am, we left...took the quick bus into town and then switched for the airport shuttle. I fell asleep after Järva Krog and woke up at Arlanda terminal 5, we stopped at terminal 2 and went through security. I remembered when I was on my way to London, only now I had people that really loves me around ;)
At the terminal we found the Norwegian flight to Oslo, we stood in line for hmm 15 minutes before they let us board. Unfortunately separated seats (my mom and sister could sit together) but it was okej. I listened to music after take-off, was kind of falling asleep and suddenly they announced that we were about to land...really quick flight hehehehe. I got a few shots from the air...really cool!
We got to Oslo airport, it was really pretty but didn't have much time to shop a single postcard since our flight was a bit delayed and we had to make a run for the connecting flight to Düsseldorff. Finally we sat together, bought some breakfast and talked during the hour and half flight down to Germany. I was falling asleep again and they announced that we were 15 minutes away from landing, so I tried to keep my eyes open.

Suddenly we were at Düsseldorff International and it felt awesome to be there again :) I actually like Germany a lot, I just wish I could learn the language so I could get a chance to talk and understand the people that talk to me hehe.
We took the Skytrain, I took a few pics and switched to the train to Cologne.

Then I fell asleep, so tired...but when we arrived to Cologne central station, it felt like I was home.
It's strange, I don't feel at home in other places...I just like other places but there....it's something special. Before heading to the hotel, we stopped by the gigantic Harry Potter like cathedral. I took some more pics there, we lit candles and prayed.
At last, at the hotel...I was tired again. My bed was so comfy and all I wanted was to sleep for a few hours ;) but we just left the luggage and wandered around. Oh yeah, we saw this huge line with girls of all ages and saw this big sign saying that "BTR" were having a signing session!!! WOW, the line actually went around the corner of the store to right behind it's parking lot.
My sister, who is a huge fan wanted to meet them face to face...so we stood in line until they started to move but couldn't get through since it got all crazy. But she did see them up close :D
Later on during the evening, we took a stroll and bought some late dinner....ate at the hotel and watched german tv :) I think I fell asleep at 10 pm (which never happens back home).

Rise and shine for a day in town, we took some pics around Cologne. I did some shopping and just enjoyed the gorgeous sunny weather! Oh and to see my sister melt in her new loves arms.... ^^ she's so happy!
Final day...I didn't want to leave. Like always I think the days away go too fast that they feel like only 2 days away ;D We had some issues with the train from Cologne (it was late), we got right on time to the flight but it had been delayed (Thank God) but technically we made the run for it before boarding. We got to Berlin, had to go around the Tegel airport to take the flight home and it was so freaking freezing outside.
On the flight to Stockholm, I kept thinking about my future flight to Barcelona...really longing to go, on my own, see the town, see the guys from Vampire Diaries at the convention (like when I was in Northampton to see the Twilight convention)....really can't wait!!!!

Germany, I'll be seeing you during the summer. Until then....Auf Wiederhesen.
